This hospital instrument sprays liquid medication to fog panel by compressing air. It mechanically produces an aerosol by means of a venturi device that entrains liquid and breaks it up into tiny droplets. These tiny droplets are then further broken down into a mist by means of a baffle device.
This nebulizer is used for airway hydration, administration of aerosol medication, and adjunct therapy for the mobilization of retained secretions. It has an oil free and high efficiency valve for a less-maintenance performance.
